Renowned for its outdoor swimming ponds and vistas across London, especially from Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath is one of the most popular and most visited attractions in London.
On its northern boundaries you’ll find Kenwood House and Estate, on its eastern flank the “Highgate” ponds, and in the south Parliament Hills fields athletics track and lido. In between, 791 acres of woodland and meadows and tall grass.
Hampstead Heath has a history that can be traced back the first millennial and contains the largest single area of common land in Greater London.
It’s easy to get lost on Hampstead Heath, and maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
