However, the flat needs to be modernised and refitted – and this will take time and money.
This leaves me with a choice.
I either hire a professional to refit the flat to a high standard and sell it at an elevated price or I discount the property and sell it as-is.
It makes more sense to allow a new owner to refit the flat to his or her tastes than impose mine. What’s the point of fitting a new kitchen only for someone to rip it out a few months later because they prefer something else? Crazy.
So, for now, I’ve decided to sell it as-is.
And here lies the opportunity…
